This microscope is missing a glass filter that covers the infrared remote control receiver that receives input from an OPTIONAL Zeiss remote control (not included). The missing glass is cosmetic only and I have the glass filter on order and it should arrive in the next 2 to 3 weeks. See the pictures.
I must say that testing this microscope with the different Zeiss software packages has been a pleasure. You don't have to be a rocket scientist to get this scope to connect to the network and then the IOS system. The software packages that I tested the microscope with are Labscope (For PC and for IOS) and ZEN. Labscope was so easy to use and was very intuitive. Note that the Ipad shown in the pictures below is not included. It was used for testing. See the bazillion pictures I took below.

The missing glass cover for the microscope keyboard is on order. It is cosmetic only. The optional remote control (not included) will work fine if the filter is not there.
