Gerald W. Cavanagh was President
when this was printed. Here is a little bit about him....
Mr. Cavanagh was educated in his early years by the Sisters of St. Joseph in La Grange and studied law at the Chicago Law School and DePaul University. His career with the Chicago Motor Club began in the underwriting department in 1921. He later was a district manager in Chicago and Joliet. In 1933, he was appointed Downstate sales manager and, in 1935, general sales manager. He was elected a director in 1946, president in 1963 and, later, chairman of the board.
