Vintage booklet entitled “1001 Decorating Ideas You Can Use for Your Home”. Book 10. This brochure magazine is undated but looks to be from the late 1940’s or early 1950’s era. Published by Consolidated Trimming Corporation of New York City. Manufacturers of Conso Drapery and upholstery trimmings sold throughout the U.S.A., Canada and Overseas.
Condition is poor. This brochure has sustained a liquid spill and the top edge portion of most of the pages and the front and back covers are damaged. There is NO ODOR to the book. A few of the pages are stuck together at the top corners.
There is useful readable information and vintage projects in this magazine including: Bringing Lampshades Back to Life, How to cure sick rugs; Slipcovers a la mode, how to reupholster your furniture and Fringe for Fashion.
