  • Condition: This is a beautiful looking piece and has been aesthetically restored awhile back, but has not been tested again since that restoration, so cannot verify if it’s operational. But if you look at the photos you will see it’s in excellent condition, so you can either test, or use for parts. You’ve either got beautifully restored “parts” or a great deal on a fully restored and operational bitumeter. Hope it’s the latter. P.s. My Father used to restore gauges to their full glory for a living before he passed, so this was in his work area storage from his basement.

    This is a beautiful piece.  Looks like it was initially restored (most likely by my Father who repaired and restored Marine, car and plane instruments) for a career.  But this piece has not been tested since he passed so I cannot guarantee that it works. But it is in excellent condition visually, so look carefully at the photos as it is being sold “as is”. Great deal whether buying for parts or to use or restore.
