    Description

    This sale is for a Town Topic Sportswear shirt...long sleeved..size Junior 14.  This shirt tag states..Junior 14 Sanforized.   The original tag 2 1/2" X 2 3/4" (over 75 years the talk of the town..nationally advertised ...is still attached and the shirt is still folded and pinned as it was in the store over 50 years ago.  There is light tan staining  around edges of folds.   See pictures for condition.  We purchased boxes of merchandise that was stored since the early 1970's after a department store closed.  The clothes that we have listed are old stock from the 1950's - 1960's...most still have original tags and none of them have been worn or used.  Some show stains from poor storage (aging/tan around edges of folds).  We are not selling them as new condition...we are selling them as new with tags.  This item is being sold "AS SHOWN".  Combine auctions and save on shipping.  These pieces of clothing would make a great early department store display.
