A NEW MADE REPRODUCTION: 1903 leather equipment included a 9-pocket bandolier, grained leather on the pockets. Each pocket holds two five round charger clips for .303 ammunition. It is made larger than originals.
OIL TREATMENT
Please note that the colour of Bandolier may vary from the picture shown here and appear lighter in colour.
This is because Oil is applied on the bandolier (brushing procedure) both on the outer surface and inside the pocket.
We do not dip in oil because the Bandolier then releases oil and sometimes spoils uniform it is worn over.
The Bandolier (leather) will gradually get darker and reddish over the period of time as it ages.
It will also absorb moisture as it will be used.
I may also suggest to softly apply neat foot oil (alternate oil may also be used) even wax using soft cloth from time to time.
I assure you that the Bandolier is oil treated 100%.
