Operates smoothly has some light ageing and minimal wear
The glass plate has a ½" light scratch near the front-out of the field of view, also some light surface wear & micro scratches / A new piece of glass would be an easy replacement
The reflector mirror is double sided / one side has a edge crack / the other side is good
I was using this microscope to check turntable cartridges and stylus and it worked quite well
It is a good workhorse piece of equipment / If you are looking for a pristine lab grade microscope-this is not for you
The case is in Very Good condition with some light wear / Also includes the key for locking the case
