    The book is a work in which for the first time under one cover with the involvement of a mass of documentary sources and a large number of photographic materials, a significant set of interrelated issues of the history of Soviet tank troops and the features of military service is considered. Among them is the history of the troops, where the main emphasis is on the description of organizational changes in formations and units, as well as the central apparatus and system of universities.
