This is a Leitz Wetzlar Vintage Greenough Microscope. Made in Germany. 18X eyepieces. 2X and 8X objectives. From a local estate. Read details below before bidding.
Cosmetics-Good overall for its age with some general wear. It would make a fairly nice display item. The back body main shaft has a long number engraving. See photo with number partially covered for privacy. The clear stage is a non original plastic type replacement with lots of scratches. Bottom right base area has former label residue. The chrome parts have some tarnish and pitting. Operationally the controls adjust through their ranges ok but could use some lubrication from age. The right side main control shaft is bent some and turns a bit lopsided. See photo. Optics have some dust, specs, and haze from age. It was in storage for decades. Could use cleaning. See lots of photos of what you are getting. Good for your collection.
Includes the microscope seen above. No case or other items. Nothing else is included. Will be well packed for safe shipping.
