OLD Zuni sterling silver Western style ranger buckle with a multi-color inlay sunface design. Inlay materials include natural turquoise, spiney oyster or red abalone, jet, and mother of pearl. The small horseshoe shaped buckle can be used on a leather belt up to .75” wide. This buckle can be used on a belt or would make an ideal buckle for a shoulder strap on a leather bag or purse. There are no additional keepers or tip, just the buckle.
Excellent quality and condition. The sunface design is exceptional! Unsigned, as is typical of jewelry of this era – ca. 1950. The initials “NXX” are lightly scratched onto the back. This is likely an old Indian trader cost or source code. Reasonable starting price.
    CLASSIC SUNFACE DESIGN!
