    Friedrich Gornik Bronze Desk Bell Dog likeness of an Irish Setter, Golden Retriever, Labrador,  1920.  Excellent condition- no bends or cracks, not tested, electrification needs to be renewed. Push down on bone to ring bell.
    This superb figural bronze desk bell of Austrian origin was created by the famous Austrian artist Friedrich Gornik (1877 - 1943) around 1920 and features the portrayal of
    likeness of an Irish Setter, Golden Retriever, Labrador
    . The base resembles natural soil and the actual push button is hand carved out of stag antler to make a bone for the doggy. Gornik's works of art are highly sought after and found artworks by him for art prices that fetched US $ 6,000.00.
