    Brass Trivet for Sad or Flat Iron Shaped Like Iron English Late 1800's Description Brass Trivet For Sad or Flat Iron This is a brass trivet that held the sad or flat iron off the ironing surface. The iron was placed in the store or fireplace to warm it and then it was placed on this wonderful trivet in between pressings on the garnets. The trivet is 4" at the wide point, 7 and a half " in length and 1/2  high. no marks no flaws
