Dennis Smith Bronze 2002 Winter Olympics Ice Figure Skating Sculpture Figurine

Up for auction is a beautifully detailed and very hard to find Dennis Smith limited edition sculpture in great condition. The female ice skater from the 2002 Salt Lake City Utah Olympic winter games
measures with the base 7 3/4" tall 5" wide and 5" deep. The ice skater has one leg up with her head tilted back and her arms open as she finishes her choreographed program on her quest for an Olympic gold medal. In 2002 at the Olympic Winter games in Salt Lake City Utah. Team USA ice skater Sarah Hughes shocked the world with one of the sports greatest upsets and taking the gold medal beating out Michelle Kwan and Irina Slutskaya. It is signed "Dennis Smith 229/5000" on the base and it has the gold colored round plaque that reads "
Olympic Winter Games Salt Lake 2002" Olympics TM 1997, Sloc 36UUSC380 Fine Art Ltd St Louis Mo". I did notice a small nick on the corner of the marble base
(see last pic).
This rare solid bronze figurine would look nice as a paperweight or home office desk art
