Compania Trasatlantica Espanola (Spanish Line): A twelve-page interiors brochure with deck plans dated 1965 for the sister ships GUADALUPE and COVADONGA, transatlantic combo liners that first sailed in 1953.
The artwork typifies mid-1960s style with breezy passengers enjoying shipboard life against brightly colored backdrops. The back page unfolds to reveal four decks' worth of plans covering both First and Tourist classes.
Interesting to see that many First Class cabins had private balconies - a feature not made popular until the 1990s. Several of the Tourist Class public bathrooms are marked as "Sitz Bath with Shower". The term was a new one for me but a quick Wikipedia look indicated a sitz bath is a small, shallow tub often used for soaking suffering posteriors.
