  • Condition: We have two items as seen in photos. The 38 page booklet from what I can tell was issued back in 1911. It measures 7x11 inches and aside from the bug bites on cover and a bit of surface dirt the pages are clean. Center page is loose. The cast iron cap is in nice shape

    CIVIL WAR Reunion G.A.R Cast Iron Hat & Battlefield of ANTIETAM  Booklet 1911 The booklet from  my little research was printed ion 1911, but there is no date on the inside that i could find. The cap I believe is also an old reunion item for  the Grand Army of the Republic could be earlier.  The battle of Antietam was the bloodiest day in U.S History September 17th 1862.
