he Color-Call system works with the existing Caller ID service from your telephone company. Once the device is connected to your phone line, you can assign colors to a specific phone number or group of numbers, those of family or friends, for instance by pressing a button on its top. It stores up to 100 numbers.
When you get a call, the number is displayed on the screen and the Color-Call unit lights up with the color you have chosen for the number allowing you to see who is calling even from across the room. But watch out for colors scrolling in a series: this means the caller is unassigned or unknown — and perhaps not worth the walk over to the phone.
