.  Collected by tangle net, 150 meters, Olango Island, Philippines.  I still marvel at the number of shells collected by tangle net---it blows the mind!  Yet what a perfect solution to finding shells that still are way too deep to be collected any other way.  Dredging was popular in the 60's and 70's, and yielded some incredible shells too, but by far, collecting by tangle net has made available more rare shells to the average collector than any other method.  Amazing.

As for normal disclaimers, we do the best we can with photos, but color is tricky, especially since cell phone cameras automatically lean towards flesh-tone coloring, (that's why so many of the photos of shells on eBay show up with more orange than is really there, the camera changes the color, and damm if I can figure out how to stop that from happening, but I try, honest!
