Blue wool with leather visor and headband. Gold lace trim with GAR brass staff buttons. Gild bullion GAR on front of the hat with numbers 557, no holes stains or any other damage except for a piece of tape on inside of visor which you can see in the pictures. Inside of hat marked Ridabock & Company New York,New York. Hat was obtained from an estate on Long Island,New York.Great piece to add to one’s Civil War collection!
