1968 Ford Galaxie Center Console Horseshoe Shifter Mounting Brackets 68

Description

This console was removed from a 1968 Galaxie XL. It was in good shape but has been lightly reconditioned. A few cracks were repaired with glue and metal reinforcement. It was a bit faded, so the plastic parts have been re-dyed. The metal mounting brackets have been media-blasted, epoxied and repainted. The horseshoe shifter is in good working condition. The original handle is in good shape. The shifter metal mounting brackets were media-blasted, epoxied and repainted. The inner side pieces of the shifter handle were cracked up. We repaired them with fiberglass material to get their shape. Someone may be able to 3-D print replacements. This console will ship in a big box so shipping will not be cheap.
