    Norwegian America Line: The special 1949 OSLOFJORD number of the Dutch shipping journal "Schip en Werf" ("Ship and Yard").
    The 120-page journal is dedicated to the new flagship. Like all the great journals of this genre, the issue begins and ends with congratulatory advertising from vendors and supplies. Articles in between provide a detailed looked at the line history, ship construction, interior decor (with many photos), mechanical design, and safety features.
    Also included are fold-out pages that provided complete deck plans. A special treat are both a longitudinal profile and a longitudinal cutaway.
